For what it is worth, from the book, Kidd The Search for his Treasure; “This chart was discovered with several others in the box found by Smith and Westhaver on Cochran’s Island, it is reasonable to assume there is a pirate treasure buried on Oak Island – not necessarily in the Money Pit – and by Cult or Keede, possibly even Kidd. W.E Keede was obviously active in the area. A Wilkens copy of one of the other charts found by Westhaver and Smith (see chart C10) shows that he buried a cache here in 1768” Chart C10 refers to Plum Island which is now Cochran’s Island.
